TSP Participants Can Now Submit Withdrawal and Loan Forms Online

June 24, 2021 My Federal Retirement

Thrift Savings Plan participants may now submit withdrawal and loan forms online, the agency announced Monday.

By logging in to “My Account” section of the TSP website (https://www.tsp.gov), participants can find an up-to-date list of TSP forms that are accepted online. Once the form is found and filled out, the participant can select “Upload Form” from the menu. The form section of the website also provides detailed instructions on how to prepare the file for upload.

“You still have the option to mail or fax your completed form and supporting documentation to us,” the TSP wrote. “However, be sure to submit your form and documentation one time only. We will process the first submission we receive and cancel any subsequent forms of the same type.”

The TSP reminded participants that the list of TSP withdrawal forms on its website that can be submitted online may change at any time, so it is important to be sure to check the list in My Account before preparing a new file for submission.
