The 41th edition of Consumer’s  Checkbook Guide to Health Plans for Federal Employees and Annuitants rates about 276  health insurance plans available to federal employees and retirees, including about 18 national plans, 260 health maintenance organization (HMO) options, and high deductible plan options.

The guide informs how much money they can potentially save by changing — or by staying in — their health insurance plan. It summarizes thousands of facts about the plans to simplify the decision process.
