New Thrift Savings Plan Website (TSP.gov) Now Available
After several months of development, the new Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) website has been released.
The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, which oversees the TSP, redesigned the website largely in response to comments and suggestions from TSP particpants. The new TSP website layout provides easier access to - TSP.gov account access log-in - TSP plan features - investment fund information - planning calculators - current TSP contribution limits - Thrift Savings Plan return rates - current news about the Thrift Savings Plan "We have organized each section so that you can quickly find the answers to your questions," said Gregory T. Long, the TSP's executive director. "For example, all of the TSP features and rules can be easily found under Plan Participation -- so if you need to know the difference between a contribution allocation and an interfund transfer, it's right there. If you want to better understand your TSP fund options, how they compare to each other, and historical performance, you can visit Investment Funds. And if you need to know what you should do about your TSP account at certain milestones in your life, such as marriage or separating from Federal service, you can visit Life Events."
