Guide to Federal Employee Insurance Benefits

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has provided a "fast facts" guide to

federal employee insurance benefits. While the guide is designed for newly

hired or newly eligible federal employees, it does provide a useful snapshot for

everyone of all insurance benefits available.

The document provides basic information about:

- Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program

- Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP)

- Federal Flexible Spending Account Program (FSAFEDS)

- Federal Employees Group Life Insurance Program (FEGLI)

- Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP).

The guide also provides links to websites with comprehensive information

about each program.
