About My Practice

Federal Benefit Specialists was formed to assist the federal and postal employee in addition to being experts in understanding all government benefits. Everything we do is aimed at helping individuals understand their benefits so they can maximize what is available to them and plan for a secure retirement. We are experts in the federal employee benefit marketplace as well as the general government entitlement programs. You can rest assured you are in very capable hands when working with the Federal Benefit Specialists.

Our company services all of New England and specializes in two very distinct but related areas of financial planning:

Federal Employee Benefit Planning - We offer a full benefit review for federal and postal employees. We then couple this review with a complete retirement analysis report and retirement eligibility forecast. Through this process we can identify any gaps in the retirement plan and recommend expert planning solutions to rectify the shortfall or absence of necessary coverage.

VA Aid & Attendance Pension Benefit Qualification - We assist senior Veterans and spouses obtain a little known, little used tax-free benefit more commonly referred to as the VA Aid and Attendance Special Pension. This Special Pension was passed by the United States Congress in 1951 and was designed to help defray the costs of long-term care. This program grants senior Veterans tax-free income to help pay their expenses, protect their core assets and income and thus live their lives in deserved dignity.
