2014 Federal Pay Tables Released by OPM

President Obama issued an executive order on December 23, 2013 approving a 1 percent across-the-board pay raise for federal employees.   The 2014 increase ends a 3-year pay freeze and will become effective on the first day of the first applicable pay period beginning on or after January 1, 2014.

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has issued the 2014 General Schedule and Locality Pay Tables.  According to OPM all locality pay areas and definitions for 2014 are the same as those in effect in 2013.
